Welcome to Hotel Kirchboden. This accommodation is ideally located for your summer holiday! Enjoy the atmosphere of the Austrian Alps with all amenities! The hotel is located on a small hill in the middle of Wagrain. Here you will experience typical Austrian hospitality and Alpine charm.

Hotel Kirchboden in Salzburgerland

The hotel was built in 1968 and is situated on a beautiful hill close to the center of Wagrain. As part of the Sportwelt Amadé, we are the perfect starting point for exploring the Alps in both winter and summer. The village center is only a ten minute walk from the hotel. The mountain panorama and the rural atmosphere invite you to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Let yourself be spoiled in our restaurant, in the lounge or in our bar. The common area, the terrace or garden with lawn, umbrellas and lounge chairs also invite you to relax.

The younger guests can let off steam in our playroom in the basement with various toys and a small slide. (Parents are responsible for their children.)

Hotel Kirchboden is divided into three sections, which are connected underground.

Flexible meal plan at Hotel Kirchboden

Our large restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere and about 185 seats. Our changing theme buffets offer something for every taste. We know that good food is the key to a successful holiday. Of course we always serve vegetarian alternatives. If you suffer from allergies, our kitchen team will – on request – make you a wholesome alternative. In summer we offer a flexible meal plan, which you can add when booking.

Stay with breakfast at Hotel Kirchboden

Start the day with a rich breakfast so that you are well prepared for an active day in the Salzburg Alps. Our breakfast buffet includes a variety of breads and pastries, sausages and cheeses, a selection of jams and spreads, as well as yoghurt, cereals, fruits and fresh egg dishes. Coffee, tea and various fruit juices are of course also included in the breakfast. Breakfast is from 07:30 to 10:00 and for the late riser breakfast is still open from 10:00 to 11:00. If you would like a late riser breakfast, please book in advance at reception.

Stay with half board at Hotel Kirchboden

Breakfast is included in the half board stay and for the grand finale, there is our evening buffet including salad buffet. Dinner will be served between 18:00 - 20:30.

Stay with all inclusive light at Hotel Kirchboden

Breakfast is included in the All Inclusive Light stay and for the grand finale, there is our evening buffet including salad buffet. Dinner will be served between 18:00 - 20:30. Drinks such as coffee, tea, non-alcoholoc drinks, house wine (red and white), draft beer, spirits such as gin, rum, vodka, brandy and fruit brandies are included in the room rate from 18:00 to 20:30.

Sauna area in Hotel Kirchboden

After a long day of hiking, bicycling or other activities in the mountains, you may need to relax. At hotel Kirchboden, we offer you one of the best places to do so - a well-equipped sauna area.

In our pool, the kids can have fun and in one end of it, you will find massage streams for your sour muscles. In the sauna, steam bath or infrared cabin you can let your muscles loosen up.

Please be aware that if you need a bathrobe you can get this in the reception for an extra fee of EUR 10,- for a bathrobe. You can get towels in the reception free of charge.

For those of our guests who are here by car, we offer free parking.

Travel with a dog to Hotel Kirchboden

Throughout the summer guests traveling with a dog are welcome at Hotel Kirchboden. Pre-registration is required and the rooms for dogs are subject to availability. The hotel staff will select the room, and therefore any special room requests can not always be considered. Dogs allowed up to 15 kg (without food) € 20, - / night, must be supervised in the room and do not have access to public areas.

City tax

City tax is not included in the price and will be charged on arrival in the Hotel.

Wasserwelt Wagrain

Both in the winter- and summer season you have daily free access to water fun in Wasserwelt Wagrain. In the summer season, you have a daily entrance to the indoor and outdoor pool. By bad weather the entrance will be limited to 3 hours. In the winter season, you have 3 hours entrance to the indoor pool.
