Hotel Kirchboden in Wagrain - with Austrian charm

Traditional Austrian atmosphere
Welcome to Hotel Kirchboden. Here you will find the perfect conditions for your stay during your winter holiday in the Alps.
The hotel was built in 1968 and is situated on a beautiful hill close to the center of Wagrain. It is in traditional Austrian style and so is the menu we serve for dinner in our cozy restaurant.
All winter activities are easily accessible from this central location. The bus stop is only 50 meters from our door. For those of our guests who are here by car, we offer free parking.
After a long day in the Alps, you can relax in our pool- and sauna area.
We are happy to welcome families. We offer a special children’s menu and have a play room for our small guests to enjoy. (Parents are responsible for their children.)
Smoking is not allowed indoors.
Half board at Hotel Kirchboden
Our large restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere and about 185 seats.
We serve a rich breakfast buffet to get you ready for a day full of activities and in the evening, you can look forward to either a 3-course menu of choice including salad bar OR a buffet. For our younger guests, there is a daily children's menu, and high chairs for the smallest ones are available!
Our friendly staff is always available at any time and will do its best to fulfil all your wishes.
If allergies or intolerances prevent you from eating certain foods, just let us know, we will gladly offer you an alternative.
Breakfast
We serve a rich breakfast buffet to get you ready for a day full of activities. Breakfast is open from 07:00 to 09:30.
Dinner
Dinner buffet will be served every day. There will be an Austrian themed buffet once a week. If you wish, you can have your main course served, choosing between vegetarian, fish or meat. However, this is not Saturday, Tuesday and the day of the theme buffet.
We also offer a buffet for the children.
The dinner will be divided in 2 seatings. You can reserve your table from 17:30 - 19:30 or from 20:00 - 21:30. You reserve your table from home in the booking flow or through your travel advisor.
Facilities at Hotel Kirchboden
In our non-smoking hotel you will be well taken care of. Our reception is open from 8 am to 8 pm, so you have all day to talk to someone about your wishes!
Let yourself be spoiled in our restaurant, in the lounge or in our bar.
Hotel Kirchboden is divided into three sections, which are connected underground. This also includes a small additional building Haus Hege, only a few steps away from the main building and our Haus Peregrina with apartments of various sizes.
If required we provide cots for free - please tell us in advance! The hotel's parking is also free.
Unfortunately, our facilities are not equipped for handicapped.
Sauna area at Hotel Kirchboden
After a long day of skiing or other activities in the mountains, you may need to relax. At hotel Kirchboden, we offer you one of the best places to do so - a well-equipped sauna area.
In our pool, the kids can have fun and in one end of it, you will find massage streams for your sour muscles. In the sauna, steam bath or infrared cabin you can let your muscles loosen up.
Please be aware that if you need a bathrobe you can get this in the reception for an extra fee of EUR 10, - for a bathrobe. You can get towels in the reception free of charge.

There is free Wi-Fi internet in the entire hotel. Speed and stability can vary depending on number of users.

For those of our guests who are here by car, we offer free parking.
City tax
City tax is not included in the price and will be charged on arrival in the Hotel.

Wasserwelt Wagrain
Both in the winter- and summer season you have daily free access to water fun in Wasserwelt Wagrain. In the summer season, you have a daily entrance to the indoor and outdoor pool. By bad weather the entrance will be limited to 3 hours. In the winter season, you have 3 hours entrance to the indoor pool.

An international team

Hotel Kirchboden offers a variety of room configurations. From single rooms to spacious family rooms, the hotel has something for everyone. All rooms are furnished in traditional Austrian style.
