Great summer holiday experiences with family in focus
If you're travelling to Wagrain for your summer holiday, you're in for great alpine experiences and lots of quality time together as a family. In this suggestion, we have gathered a number of activities we think are suitable for families with children, but you are also very welcome to set your own programme and use the following as inspiration.
Day 1
Start your day with a hearty breakfast buffet. A large and varied breakfast table awaits you, ensuring a full stomach for young and old alike. You're welcome to pack a packed lunch with the selection from the breakfast buffet to take with you and enjoy for lunch.
Morning: Take the lift to the top of Grafenberg.
At the top, there's a treasure trove of opportunities for the whole family. For example. Take a trip on the 'Adventure Trail' where there are challenges for children of all ages.
Afternoon: A 5-minute walk from the hotel is 'Wasserwelt Wagrain'. 1,000 square metres of pools welcome the whole family to enjoy the water park.
Evening:
If you have purchased your stay with All Inclusive Light, dinner is served in the hotel restaurant, where drinks are included.
Spend time playing games, making new friends in the playroom or socialising either in the hotel lobby, the outdoor terrace or on the room balcony. Enjoy a quiet moment with stunning sunsets behind the mountains.
Day 2

Morning: The toboggan run 'Lucky Flitser' in Flachau is a good place to stop for a little speed.
On the way back to Wagrain, stop at the 'Rote 8' lift and enjoy a game of football golf
Afternoon: Visit 'Climbing World' in Kleinarl. There are 6 routes in total with an age limit of 5 years/110 cm.
For those seeking more adrenaline, try the 'Flying Fox' zipline!

Take the car and drive to Kleinarl.
Here you can enjoy a full day at Shuttleberg, where the lift is free.

Drive to Alpendorf and take the lift up the 'Geisterberg' (GhostMountain)
An Eldorado land for children, with 4 experience areas, each with its own characteristics (earth, water, air and fire)

All day long
Hire an e-bike and cycle from Wagrain via Kleinarl and further up the valley. Here you'll come across the small mountain lake 'Jägersee' where you can take a dip before heading back to Wagrain.
There are a total of 150 km of signposted e-bike routes in the Wagrain area, so there's room for an extra detour.
