Practical info
For a real adrenaline rush, try mountain gocarts in Schladming. Take the ride from the top of the mountain all the way to the valley in sharp hairpin turns on a 3-wheeled mountain gocart, while the family competes to see who can get down first.
How it works
The meeting point is at the Hochwurzen lift, where you register at the Ski Lenz sports shop. Then take the lift up to the top (free with SummerCard), where you'll be met by experienced instructors who'll give you safety tips and instructions for the descent.
After a thorough briefing, it's time to strap on your helmet and get ready for the descent.
A fantastic 7 kilometre descent into the valley awaits you. The gocart provided is stable on the road, easy to steer and has strong brakes, making the ride suitable for the whole family - even those members of the family who do not have a taste for speed and action.
You control the speed and can choose to go full throttle or take it easy and enjoy the stunning scenery as you descend. Smaller children can ride with an adult.
The descent takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
