Summer skiing is for the ambitious and those who simply cannot leave their skis at home until the start of the winter season. It can also be a fun summer holiday activity that brings back memories of your winter skiing holiday. You will find that the views, the glaciers and the experience are much the same as in winter.

However, it is important to mention that summer skiing is characterised by warm weather. The snow is very hard for the first two hours after the lift opens, but the ground becomes softer a few hours before lunch. Most of the glacier resorts close at noon, depending on the weather conditions.
