This is the hotel with the best location of them all! Unbeatable 10 meters from the main ski lift that takes you straight up to the fantastic ski area around Schladming. And just 100 meters from the hotel you will find the Hohenhaus Tenne - with three floors it is Europe's largest Après-ski spot. The pleasant pedestrian street in the centre of Schladming with its great range of shops and cafes is only 200 meters from the hotel. In the same building you will find ski rental and in the basement you’ll find a grocery store. Here you have everything you could possibly want for your ski holiday in easy reach.

Half board at Hotel Planai

Start the day with a full breakfast! Our breakfast buffet offers everything, and you will have a lot of energy for a day in the Alps, whether looking for a healthy choice or the full version. Breads and pastries, meats, cheeses, a selection of jams and spreads, as well as yogurt, cereals, fruit and fresh egg dishes are available every morning. Coffee, tea and fruit juices are of course also offered.

Breakfast buffet is open from 07:00 - 09:30.

Dinner buffet will be served every day. There will be an Austrian themed buffet once a week. If you wish, you can have your main course served, choosing between vegetarian, fish or meat. However, this is not Saturday, Tuesday and the day of the theme buffet.
We also offer a buffet for the children.

The dinner (winter season) will be divided in 2 seating’s; 18:00 - 19:30 and 20:00 - 21:30. Your travel consultant will gladly help you reserve the seating that fits you the best.

Children's prices up to 18 years at Hotel Planai

At Hotel Planai all guests up to 18 years profit from our children’s prices. This makes Hotel Planai a very affordable option for families with younger and older children. In order to take advantage of the discounted price at least two full-paying guests are required per room.

Children’s prices at Hotel Planai cannot be combined with other discounts.

There is free Wi-Fi internet in the entire hotel. Speed and stability can vary depending on number of users.

Parking at Hotel Planai

Guests arriving by car can park in our underground car park (2.10m high) for €12 per night. The entrance to the underground car park is the same as the entrance to the BILLA supermarket. If the garage is full, our staff will direct you to other options nearby. The garage is accessible by lift from the hotel.

We offer four charging stations for electric cars. The stations are located in the underground parking house. Prior reservation is not possible due to high demand. Should you require the station, please type it in the reservation.

City tax

City tax is not included in the price and will be charged on arrival in the Hotel.

Double room with double bed and possibility of 2 extra people in bunk bed

A standard double room has a double bed and a fold-down bunk bed. This means there is room for 2-4 people. The rooms are 24 m2 and you can look forward to either a balcony or a terrace.

2 connecting double rooms (4 pers.) - possibility of 4 extra beds

With this type of room you get the same layout as a standard double room, but you get a connecting door to another double room. This means there is room for twice as many guests and the rooms together are 48 m2.

Two connected double rooms, one with a sitting area and a double bed, the other with a double bed. There is a shared bathroom and toilet and each room has either a balcony or terrace. This type is for 4 people and measures approximately 36-39 m2.
