Lofer provides excellent opportunities for shopping and for dining at cosy restaurants – or trying out exciting activities. Skate a few rounds on the natural ice rink; visit the toboggan run at "Knappenstadl"; or enjoy the view of the winter hiking tracks that branch out (100 km) from the top of the Loferer Alm. Another possibility would be to go torch hiking through the Lamprechtsofen cave by St. Martin, which is the world's largest walk-through cave.
